The tag layout style determines how a tag will be formatted when written. Most tags can be categorized as inline or block level tags. Normally, inline tags are not placed on a line by themselves, with a line break before and after the tag, which block level tags are usually written this way. The tag layout style determines if a tag will be written with or without newlines before and after the tag.

In Xport, you can set the tag layout style of individual tags to customize the way any tag is written.
