Xport Interface: Iterator classes overview
Xport offers a variety of iterators which are indespensible when working with documents, markup, and stylesheets. These iterators can be grouped into 2 types, markup iterators, and stylesheet iterators, and are listed below.
- Markup iterators
- markup iterators traverse children of the called element.
- descendant markup iterators traverse descendants of the called element in a pre-order fashion.
- Stylesheet iterators
- stylesheet iterators traverse stylesheets.
- stylesheet rule iterators traverse stylesheet rules.
All the iterators listed above work much like the STL iterators, and they can also be used in conjunction with the STL containers and algorithms.
